Nestled on the lush slopes of Kirinyaga near the foothills of Mt. Kenya, this coffee is grown in one of the country's most verdant coffee-producing regions. Unlike Kenya's drier growing areas, Kirinyaga's abundant rainfall, rich volcanic soils, and natural shade create ideal conditions for producing exceptionally flavorful coffees. The region's dedication to quality is further strengthened by Kenya's unique Farmer Cooperative Society (FCS) system, which gives growers access to shared knowledge, processing expertise, and resources. This collaborative approach, combined with generations of experience, helps produce the remarkable coffees that have made Kenya famous around the world.

Kenya coffees continue to be some of my favorites. This particular offering is a vibrant light roast that showcases the bright, complex character Kenya is known for. Expect juicy notes of black currant and citrus balanced by rich brown sugar sweetness and a lingering honey-like finish with subtle notes of cocoa.
