The Pacas family has been producing coffee in El Salvador for five generations. About thirty years ago, they began processing and exporting with a focus on quality, environmental care, and community impact. One of their key estates, Finca La Esperenza, spans 87 fertile hecares, grows eight distinct coffee varietals, and provides meaningful employment for more than 100 people.

Among the varietals they cultivate is Pacamara—a celebrated hybrid of Pacas and Maragogipe. Known for its large beans and distinctive flavor profile, Pacamara often delivers vibrant acidity, layered sweetness, and complex aromatics. It’s a standout not only for its cup quality but also for its unique genetic heritage, making it one of El Salvador’s most iconic contributions to the specialty coffee world.

This particular Pacamara lot is juicy and vibrant, exceptionally clean, and silky in body, with a lively yet refined acidity.
