The first thing that surprised me about this cup is how refreshingly bright it is! Think wild blackberries, fresh raspberries and limeaid. Just a touch tangy but nicely balanced with juicy sweetness. Thanks to the bourbon variety, there’s also some lovely florals, which I noted as honeysuckle.
The classic Huehuetenango characteristics come through in excellent body and creamy texture as well as caramel and cane sugar sweetness. This coffee is delightful fresh brewed or on pour over, but would also make a great cold brew and even works surprisingly well with milk if that’s your thing!
