Our first Kenya offering and it is such a delight! African coffees are some of my favorite-- Ethiopia being first and Kenya coming in second.
The thing I love most about this coffee is its natural sweetness because it is a very fresh crop. This only landed in the US a few weeks ago on boat, which is always the ideal option for a coffee being fresh off the tree!
Kenya coffees are known for being full-bodied with caramel, chocolate, and dark fruit flavors...and this offering showcases that exact profile. It isn't overly fruity, so don't let that scare you away if you aren't a fan of fruit-forward coffees.
I would call this an "approachable" light-medium roast, meaning almost any coffee drinker will likley enjoy. Roasting it this way highlights some of its delicate fruit and floral notes, while also bringing out its delectable natural sweetness and malty caramel flavors!
